A rare Vauxhall Figure of Spring C. 1756  

This model belongs to a class of figures previously attributed to the Longton Hall factory. It depicts a boy seated on a basket holding a circular garland of flowers.

The Vauxhall facrory was relatively short-lived operating between 1752 and 1763. Its figures are rare and are Often characterised by rococo bases and vibrant decorative palette.
